Erin McGlover Says:
I want to thank Foundation 44 for all of the numerous opportunities that it has granted me. Not only did this program keep me motivated to stay on the right track for college, it helped me find scholarships and financial aid and that added up to 3,000 dollars by the end of my senior year. Once I was accepted into Howard, I felt prepared to go off to college and experience all that life has to offer.
I love this program because Foundation 44 recognizes that we are not all given the opportunities that many other students have been given. I realized through this program that even if you have made some mistakes in high school and may not have the highest grade point average, if you want to redeem yourself, go to college and make your life better… YOU CAN!
I have never come across adults who cared so much about the well being of its students and people who are able to relate to all types of students from the valedictorian to the gangbanger.
Thank you so much Foundation 44. I can account a lot of my success to you!

An organization such as this needs to be thrown into every school. Through the roughest times of my life, it gave me the strength to keep pushing and get accepted to a top college. Without the org, my life most likely would have made a wrong turn for the worse. It relatively met its goal of getting every African American student at Blair Ib Magnet into a University. I just think to my self, if this organization made this much of a difference in its first year of establishment, what’s going to happen in the future? Only time will tell.
